Part of what makes MJ Verdant unique as well as positioned for long-term success is the planning and investment that went into the building itself. Growing cannabis can require a significant amount of natural resources; specifically water and electricity. With an eye on sustainability, our 33,000 square foot facility features leading-edge growing technology that makes our best harvests repeatable while giving us data that helps us continually improve the growing process.

Our vision was to have a connected building and smart facility that will enable advanced, predictive analytics and the creation of near-perfect “recipes” based on the different inputs. We think we nailed it.

Some of the Technology/Building Features

• 3000A 12.47KV indoor primary substation with integrated switchgear (and a failover switch in case of local power outage) – Yes; we’re basically our own power station.
• LED lighting systems; PHOTOBIO 688W – An award-winning; best-in-class lighting solution ensuring every level of the canopy catches the right rays and the right time.
• 150TR Frigadon Chiller with dry cooler, warm loop, 6 control zones and boiler from GrowControlled – You want 2% more humidity in flower room 1 and 3% less humidity in flower room 6? Done!
• Kilowatch Energy Management System – The ability to control all environmentals from one control system, from home, in our pajamas if we want.
• 3” Kingspan Insulated Metal Panels – Creates a “room within a room” for precise environmental controls that let one room grow in arid conditions while the room next door can grow at “altitude”
• Custom, automated irrigation system and water room, with RootsTalk Fertigation technology – Precisely watering and feeding the plants what and when they need, while eliminating excess run-off (waste water).
• Rolling, single-tier table systems from Innovative Growers Equipment – Maximizing our canopy space and access to every beautiful plant.
• Closed cell spray foam insulation – keeping our smells INSIDE the building and all molds, bugs, and spores OUT.
